DESCRIPTION:The Great American Whiskey Fair is the largest celebration of American whiskey in the Southeast\, with over 100 different distilleries and bottlers presenting over 500 whiskeys\, bourbons and ryes! Now in it’s fifth year\, it is BIGGER and BETTER than ever\, as we have added another exhibition space to present whiskeys from other countries as well. So in addition to Kentucky\, Tennessee\, Colorado\, South Carolina\, Utah and every other state of the Union\, whiskeys from Scotland\, Ireland\, Canada and Japan will also be presented. \nThe Great American Whiskey Fair is your opportunity to taste whiskeys while chatting with distillery owners\, master distillers\, blending masters and brand ambassadors from around the world. DESCRIPTION:Meador Acres Chestnuts first annual Fall Fest on Saturday\, September 15\, 2018 from 10am to 6pm. We invite you out to our farm to experience rural life\, relax\, learn and have fun! There will be walking tours of the Chestnut trees. Learn about honeybees and their importance to farming. Say hello to our farm ducks and chickens.  We will have local vendors set up for you to shop early for Fall & Christmas and support local business. The Salty Crab Soap Co\, Personal Touch Designs by Connie Gause\, Deep South Creations\, ProScapes\, Found & Altered\, Noggin Topz\, Genie in a Bucket\, Wellness Matters\, Bowers Farm & a Damsel in Defense pro Courtney Thurston will be joining us. The Blended Bakery with their vintage Trolley will be joining us for your enjoyment of a sweet snack or enjoy lunch at the farm!  Yard games will be set up for the adults & for the smaller ones\, a bounce house will here for fun!   Come out & support your local farms & shop local vendors & support small business ! DESCRIPTION:Gardening\, pollinators\, edible flowers and fresh foods are the focus. Campers will take home a sunflower plant and tissue paper stained glass windows. \nThis is a 2nd – 4th grader appropriate camp. Your child will be outdoors\, so be sure to bring sunscreen\, bug spray\, water bottle and medication (if needed). \nEach exciting learning experience registration deadline is one week prior. Camps have size limits so early sign-ups are recommended. Age exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. All of the camps will be outdoor so be ready to hike and walk around! \nA refund will be provided in the case of extreme weather.\nAn email will be sent to the email address you provided when registering your camper.

We will learn new tricks to grow your social media and the best way to market your farm and events on these platforms. \nSchools offer a great opportunity to Agritourism farms and we will learn about incorporating school curriculum into your farm tours to make your farm the most appealing. Also hear about the importance of building successful relationships with the schools and communicating with school systems. We will also visit Denver Downs to hear their story and how they added agritourism to their daily farming operation.
