SUMMARY:LowCountry Summer Spotlight Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the LowCountry gathering where we will visit a Certified Roadside Market and view their productions fields\, where they grow vegetables\, flowers and specialty crops.  We will then head over to 4 L’s farm for a wonderful Certified SC grown lunch.  Guest speaker will be Klye Player from the ACRE program that will share how you can fund programs on your farm with free money! It will be a great day of networking and touring SC agritourism farms.

DESCRIPTION:Farm Friends\, we are excited to announce that our good friend Farante Ager is the guest speaker for our August 23rd\, Farm Event\n“Farante Ager is a graduate of the Graduate Certificate in Complementary Alternative Medicine\, Graduate Certificate in Wellness Consulting\, Graduate Certificate in Holistic Nutrition\, and Master of Science in Health and Wellness.” American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS)\nCome hear Farante share about her journey to fulfill her mission of “Supporting Families through Food\, Health\, and Wellness”.\nGuests will hear about her work as a doula and breastfeeding peer counselor who provides her clients with “great knowledge\, support\, and comfort”.\nFarante is married and together she and her husband have three children. Guests will hear how she manages her family’s homeschool schedule\, dietary choices and tastes in a variety of ways from vegan to traditional dishes.
